A newborn changes by the hour, so contact your photographer soon to book your session.

When should I plan my Newborn Session?
To save money on your newborn portrait session you should schedule it at the same time that you book your maternity session. By booking both sessions during your 7th trimester, you can save 20% on your total! Keep in mind that a baby will change a lot in the first 2 weeks, so it's best to have your photos done within those first couple of weeks to capture those precious days. Sessions book fast so, have your newborn session booked at least 2 months before the baby is born.
Keep in mind that a baby may be born late or early. Booking 2 months ahead allows your photographer to reserve a window of time just in case baby is born before and after your expected due date. To be sure that the photographer will be available, you'll want to book your newborn session at least 2 months before
What if my baby is born earlier than I expected?
Booking 2 months ahead allows your photographer to reserve a window of time just in case baby is born before and after your expected due date. You'll want to book your newborn session at least 2 months before so your photographer can save an extra time slot 1 day before and 1 day after your expected due date.
Do I need to provide my baby’s props and outfits?
No, not necessarily. If you have a special outfit or something sentimental you’d like to use, we will include it in your portraits. If not, that is quite alright. Your photographer will come prepared with newborn props and outfits. If you have a color or style preference you should let your photographer know. That way she can bring items that will match your vision.
Is it safe to photograph a baby in the hospital?
Yes! Your photographer has received specialized CDC training to safely photograph newborns in a home or hospital setting. Her props are sanitized to meet CDC guidelines. Your baby will be in clean, safe hands.
Is my apartment big enough? Will there be enough light?
Most small apartments work fine for newborn portraits since I typically use natural window light. A cleared out space of about 4 ft by 5 ft should be great to capture beautiful photos of your newborn and family. If you'd like to double check with your photographer that you have adequate light and space, don't hesitate to reach out.
