3. Prepare for your session
A tuckered-out newborn takes a beautiful photo. Everyone else, please come well-rested.
Being well-fed and comfortably-dressed are also simple variables of capturing a natural portrait or video.
Contact Jennifer if you would like some suggestions on clothing for yourself or for the whole group. If you're pregnant, choosing the right maternity clothes can be particularly tricky, so it may be helpful to check out Jennifer's Guide on What to Wear for Your Maternity Portraits Session.

3. During your session
At your photo session, expect to be guided by the photographer through different poses and expressions, with instructions on where to look and how to position your body. To capture images that compliment and flatter you,  Jennifer will provide you simple directions and prompts. For example, a groom might be instructed to whisper something sweet into his bride's ear to bring about a genuine smile from both subjects. A baby may offer up a natural smile when Jennifer rolls a little ball and says, "ready, set, go!" A video might require some direction also, but often Jennifer will adjust her camera settings and use the natural light to make you look your best in your video. Jennifer's style of portrait and video may use props and slight posing, but will always create imagery that is natural and authentic.
4.Receive your finalized portraits or video
Your portraits or video will be delivered fully edited. Portraits will be ready to view within 14 days of your completed session. You can choose your favorites and order prints, canvases, and other Phenomenal print merchandise. Time frame for receiving your finalized video will be provided by your videographer, based upon the duration of your video.
