If you've never hired a professional photographer, don't worry. Neither have I. 
But since I am professional photographer, I've learned to ask just the right questions and to communicate details in a way that you will understand. I've also learned to listen intently so that I know exactly what you expect from your portraits session. 
If your just calling around to get prices, that is quite alright. In that case our conversations will never make you feel pressured or uncomfortable. ​​​​​​​

Here is an outline of a portrait session from start to finish: 

Have a casual chat with your photo-videographer. 
You can ask questions, check availability, or get a price quote. 
Your photo-videographer may ask:
•How many people will be photographed or featured in your film?
•Will your session  be for a specific event or occasion?
•What date would you prefer to schedule your  session?
•Is there a location that you have in mind, or would you prefer some suggestions?
•Are there specific colors, props, or outfits would you like to incorporate into your imagery?
There is no detail too small.
 If it matters to you, it is very important!

Secure your session date and time by providing a payment for 50% of your total session cost. This payment is called the Reservation Payment and it is necessary to save your appointment. The remaining cost of the session is due at this meeting, prior to the start of the session. 
Appointments fill up fast so you'll want save your spot as soon as you decide upon a date and time.
 
A tuckered out newborn takes a beautiful photo. Everyone else, please come well rested.
 Being well-fed and comfortably-dressed are also simple variables of capturing a natural portrait and video.  Dressing in layers is a good way to create variety without the discomfort of an outfit change. 
At a photo session, expect to be guided by the photographer through different poses and expressions, with instructions on where to look and how to position your body, while they capture flattering images by adjusting lighting and location to create the best shot; the photographer will likely provide direction and prompts to help you feel comfortable and relaxed during the process, with the aim of capturing natural and authe

4 View your Phenomenal Photos in your personalized online gallery or receive your finalized video
Your edited portraits will be ready to view in your gallery within 14 days of your completed session. Your personal gallery will allow you to choose your favorites and simply order prints, canvases, and other Phenomenal print merchandise. Time frame for receiving your finalized video will be provided by your videographer, based upon the length of your film.
